Effective Overpressure Protection

The Variocap is installed on the pump in place of the quick-release cover.

When the pressure in the pump chamber exceeds a specified maximum, the Variocap opens, allowing the pumped medium to flow back from the pressure side to the suction side, thereby equalizing the pressure.

Once the pressure in the pump chamber drops below the defined limit, the Variocap closes again.
