Shredding Process & Debris Management
Rotating blades effectively shred coarse solids, ensuring efficient maceration. The incoming liquid flows through stationary counter blades positioned at an angle, capturing solids and breaking them down with the rotating blades. Once macerated, the solids continue to flow with the liquid.
For objects that cannot be shredded, the Rotorrake offers different configurations:
- Rotorrake Pure – Operates without a debris collector.
- Rotorrake Plus 16 – Includes a 16-liter debris collector, which captures unshreddable solids for easy removal via a maintenance flap.
- Rotorrake Plus 150 – Designed for applications with a high volume of non-shreddable solids. It features a 150-liter debris collector, which can also be easily emptied through a maintenance flap.
The Rotorrake Pure is ideal for fluids free of large, non-shreddable debris such as metal or stones, while the Rotorrake Plus models efficiently capture and contain such materials for proper disposal.
